About Us:
Twin Lakes Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole golf course in the Okanagan, BC. We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual that is looking to further refine their skills and progress in their career within the turfgrass industry. We are seeking someone who is excited to join a leadership role within our department and has a passion for all aspects of golf course and turfgrass management. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for maintaining quality control, pesticide applications, fertilizer applications, cultural practices, and irrigation management.
Education and Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and good organizational skills.
- Applicants must consider themselves to be reasonably fit as this job will require some physical work. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Familiarity with all aspects of turfgrass maintenance.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study (preferred, not required).
- Experience in a leadership role in a golf course maintenance department, preference given to those with more experience, but not required.
- A good understanding of the game of golf.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
